Terms of Service
Effective 13 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and MLJ Systems Ltd (company number 08129030, registered at Unit 6 Tawe Business Village, Phoenix Way, Swansea, SA7 9LA) for the use of Harbour. By creating an account you accept them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
What Harbour is — and isn't
Harbour is a coordination tool for separated parents: a shared schedule, handover checklists, and a structured way to propose and agree changes.
Harbour is not a legal service. It does not provide legal advice, it is not a court-approved communication or evidence tool, and we make no promise that records kept in Harbour will meet any legal or evidential standard. It also does not replace the parenting arrangements you have agreed or that a court has ordered — it only helps you run them.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and have parental responsibility for (or the agreement of those who do for) the children whose information you add. Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in credentials to yourself.
Your content
Everything you put into Harbour remains yours. You give us the limited permission needed to store it, back it up, and show it to the members of your family — that sharing is the purpose of the app. Records that describe the family's shared life (the schedule, requests, handovers) are visible to both parents and survive either parent's departure, with the departed parent shown as “A parent”.
Acceptable use
- Enter information honestly — other people rely on it to care for children.
- No abusive, threatening or unlawful content in notes, reasons or comments.
- No attempts to access another family's data or to disrupt the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Harbour Plus
Harbour's core coordination features are free. Harbour Plus is an optional subscription covering your whole family, purchased by one parent through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price and any free-trial terms are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your app store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and refunds are handled under the store's own policies. If Plus lapses, paid conveniences pause — your family's records are never removed or held back.
Ending things
You can stop using Harbour at any time and delete your account in the app (Account → Delete my account). We may withdraw the service with reasonable notice, giving you the opportunity to export your family's information first.
Liability
We provide Harbour with reasonable skill and care, but — to the extent the law allows — we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made using information in the app, from content entered by other users, or from events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If we make material changes, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. Questions: hello@harbourfamily.co.uk.
